Yo Hablo Inglés / I Speak English ( YHI ) runs English conversation classes throughout the school year. Students are primarily from middle school, after they have had a year of English classes at school. School classes focus on reading and writing, with little chance for the students to practice speaking.  YHI gives them the chance to learn how to introduce themselves, review the basics, learn songs in English, and whatever the students are excited about discussing.

 

YHI is privately funded, but we are always looking for volunteers to chat with the students, share music, and/or listen to them read!
